Privacy Policy

In short

• Your entries are yours. We never sell them or hand them to advertisers.
• Model providers don't train on your data: we only work with providers whose API terms forbid it.
• Export and delete are one click away, anytime.

What we process

• Entries: the text and voice notes (including call mode) you add yourself.
• Reflections: the structure, named emotion and questions the AI produces from your entry.
• Context: themes, patterns and facts from your past entries, so reflections can take your history into account.
• Account: your email address and the sign-in identifier (email and password, Google or Apple).
• Technical: basic logs and reliability metrics — no advertising trackers.

Why we need it

We use your data only to give you the product itself: store entries, return reflections, remember context, and improve answer quality. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not trade your data.

AI processing

To turn an entry into a reflection, the text (and, for voice and calls, their transcribed version) is sent to trusted model providers over an encrypted connection. We only work with providers whose API terms commit not to train their models on your data.

Don't want a reflection? Settings has a “Quiet mode”: entries are simply saved, and Linetta stays silent until you ask.

Sensitive data

A journal naturally touches special categories: health, relationships, beliefs. We treat this data as strictly as the rest of your journal: it is processed only to return your reflection. We build no profiles on it and share it with no third parties beyond the processing described here.

Where and how long it's stored

Data is stored on managed infrastructure (Supabase) in EU data centers (Frankfurt). Transfer is encrypted (TLS); storage is encrypted at the provider. Raw audio lives in private storage accessible only to you. We keep data for as long as your account exists; after deletion, we erase it (see below).

Your rights

At any time you can export (Markdown or PDF) and permanently delete your data right inside the app: Settings → “Your data”. Deleting your account erases entries, reflections and memory with no recovery.

Children

Linetta is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from such users.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we'll let you know in the app. For any privacy or data question, write to us — a human replies, not a template.
